Things we are currently excited about:
- John Statz is now a PhD candidate after a great performance in his exams—Congrats, John!
- Brandon and Will have a collaborative paper out in PLOS Biology with Ary Hoffmann's group!
- Terbot published their first paper on SARS-CoV-2 evolutionary considerations in PLOS Pathogens! This is the first of several papers stemming from a collaboration among the Jensen (ASU), Good (UM), and Cooper labs.
- Mike accepted a tenure-track position at the University of Scranton that he will start in fall 2023!
- Dylan accepted a tenure-track position at Lehigh that he will start in fall 2023!
- Dylan's work on the causes of CI-strength variation is accepted at PNAS Nexus!
- Mike's work on wMel transmission and frequency variation was published in Current Biology!
- The lab received NIH R35 MIRA (renewal) and NSF CAREER Awards that will fund our work through 2027. We are very grateful to the NIH and NSF for this support!
